About the Role
The relevant A&I role is a full-time consulting position to support, advise on, and implement key strategic initiatives. Candidates will contribute extensively to strategic analyses of clinical, medical, and market data within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and healthcare provider industry, and collaborate with client and team members to accomplish various project engagement goals and objectives.
Summary of Responsibilities
Problem Solving: Conduct structured problem solving to address critical business issues
Analytics: Perform complex data analyses in support of ongoing and ad-hoc projects
Communication: Create, refine, and present recommendations to senior leadership and clients
Teamwork: All activities are conducted as part of a team, comprised of peers and management
Internal Initiatives: Support/assist team of managers in developing ‘Statement of Work’ (SOW)s and proposals and participate in other think-tank related initiatives.
Desired Qualifications
Qualifications:
M.Sc. in Biotechnology, M. Tech Biotechnology, B. Tech Biotechnology / Biochemical engineering or equivalent
MBA with a life science undergraduate degree, or applicable Ph.D. degree in life sciences would be a plus.
Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.) with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to conduct complex data analysis using analytical databases/tools.
Experiences:
Relevant experience of 3-5 years in pharma, biotechnology, or consulting or equivalent
Experience in consulting, market research, or financial analysis strongly preferred.
Knowledge on oncology and rare diseases will be a plus
Skills & Competencies:
Demonstrated ability to gather, connect, and pressure-test data to understand complexities and identify implications of analysis
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including ability to generate narrative-driven presentations and communicate implications of analysis
Ability to work well in teams, including ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Strong desire and openness to be creative and innovate, including learning/trying unconventional approaches
Demonstrated drive for quality excellence, including a strong commitment to and affinity for delivering the highest level of scientific analyses and strategic insight
Self-motivated and organized working style
Travel:
Willingness to travel (10%) locally or internationally and/or to relocate based on organizational needs.
